Secret Normandy

At the end of the 19th century, the banks of the Seine around Muids inspired an art of living that the Impressionists strove to capture on canvas. Renoir celebrated moments of conviviality, Monet painted the river’s ever-changing reflections, while Caillebotte and Sisley found poetry in gardens and the cycle of the seasons. Drawing on this heritage, the house revives that same impression of light, freedom, and a gentle art of living by the water’s edge.
