Extraordinary Landscapes
The viewpoint of the Col de la Forclaz, above Talloires, located at an altitude of 1150 m, offers a panoramic view of the lake. A path leads to a second viewpoint with a view of the surrounding peaks.
Shortly after Veyrier-du-Lac, a path leads to Mont Veyrier, a 5-hour round trip walk. At the summit, a panoramic view of Annecy and the Grand Lac, framed by the peaks of the Bauges, the Entrevernes mountain, and the Semnoz, can be admired.
On the Semnoz massif, numerous viewpoints are found. Crêt de Chatillon, the highest point of Semnoz located at an altitude of 1699 m, offers a panoramic view of the Western Alps: the massifs of Haut Faucigny, Mont Blanc, Vanoise, Ecrins, Aiguilles d’Arves…
