The Courchevel ski resort is multifaceted. Firstly, because it is spread across 5 altitudes, and secondly, because its different levels offer as many faces, panoramas, and ways to approach the mountain.
Saint Bon, the birthplace of Courchevel, at 1,100 m altitude: While no ski lift departures are offered in the village, free shuttles run every 20 minutes to the heart of the ski area, and ski back is possible via a red slope.
Courchevel 1300, Le Praz: A true traditional mountain village with its houses, chalets, and narrow streets, Le Praz has preserved incredible charm and its soul, with a vibrant life 365 days a year. It is the bastion of ski jumping, with its majestic Olympic ski jumps. As for alpine skiing, forest ski enthusiasts are delighted by the direct connection to Courchevel 1850.
Courchevel 1550, the youthful spirit: A level decidedly geared towards families, offering excellent value for money and providing quick and direct access to Courchevel 1850, as well as to the entire 3 Valleys ski area.
Courchevel 1650, ideal for families: a very sunny sector due to its location on a balcony set back from the terrain. The Courchevel 1650 ski area predominantly features green and blue slopes. The combination of these two criteria makes it a particularly popular area for families.
